CGA to Educate Federal Policymakers on Damage Prevention at AEM’s Celebration of Construction
CGA is delighted to be exhibiting at the 2023 Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) Celebration of Construction on the National Mall this Sunday through Tuesday (May 14-16). AEM's three-day festival is open to everyone and aims to educate policymakers about the latest developments in construction equipment technology and career opportunities.
At AEM’s Celebration of Construction, CGA staff and partners will highlight damage prevention priorities to White House advisors, members of Congress, leadership of key federal agencies and members of the general public. In a panel on Monday afternoon, CGA President and CEO Sarah Magruder Lyle will join other industry leaders to share CGA's perspective on how damage prevention technology can help the industry achieve our bold "50 in 5" goal of reducing damages by 50% by 2028.
The integration of up-and-coming technologies and innovations, such as those on display at AEM’s Celebration of Construction, are essential in mitigating risks, enhancing safety and ultimately improving the damage prevention process for all stakeholders.
We thank AEM for organizing this exciting event, and we look forward to engaging with federal agencies, industry stakeholders, homeowners and others at the event. CGA would also like to thank the members who will be supporting our booth at Construction on the Mall: Miss Utility of Maryland/D.C., UtiliQuest and Washington Gas. If you are in the D.C. metro area, please stop by!
