Analyze state 811 data year-over-year with CGA’s 811 Center Dashboard

Discover Valuable Damage Prevention State Trends With CGA’s 811 Center Dashboard

Earlier this year, CGA unveiled our interactive 811 Center Dashboard, a comprehensive platform designed to offer stakeholders a streamlined display of state-by-state data about annual 811 center transmissions as well as state damage prevention laws and regulations.

Dashboard users can gain quick and convenient access to valuable information, including minimum notification periods, ticket lifespan, mandatory white-lining status and comprehensive data on transmissions and ticket volume for individual 811 centers. Stakeholders can familiarize themselves with 811 center terminology using the dedicated dashboard glossary, as well as gain direct access to state-specific information about 811 services through links to each state’s 811 center.

The Dashboard has been updated with 2022 data collected by the One Call Systems International (OCSI) Data Collection Tool, including state and provincial laws and regulations as well as 811 center statistics for the U.S. and Canada. CGA is pleased to have received data from 811 centers across all 50 states and their Canadian coutnerparts, which has been instrumental in identifying meaningful connections between national and local damage prevention efforts and informing the upcoming 2022 DIRT Report set to be released this fall.

The 811 Center Dashboard now additionally includes a valuable year-to-year trending feature that enables users to compare states’ incoming ticket and transmission data with previous years, dating back to 2018. By leveraging this feature, stakeholders can effectively analyze state-level damage prevention efforts and gain valuable insights into the evolving trends of 811 usage over the years.

We hope you will take advantage of the 811 Center Dashboard tool to identify relevant 811 usage trends in your state, as well as familiarize yourself with regulations and language surrounding damage prevention. Stay tuned for upcoming information this fall about the 2022 DIRT Report for more insights into the latest damage prevention industry trends.
