Using Query Wizard to Produce Reports

Query Wizard allows DPI participants to sort data and generate graphs, tables and customized reports. When coupled with Data Grants, this becomes a powerful tool that enables data to be pooled and analyzed at a local level, for example by an 811 center.

Additional data dashboarding functionality will be added to DPI DIRT in Q2 2023.

Annual DIRT Report

The data that CGA members and DPI participants voluntarily enter into DIRT is collected and summarized to inform the publication of the annual DIRT Report. CGA’s DIRT Report is the only comprehensive accounting and analysis of damages to buried infrastructure in the U.S. and Canada. It is a critical resource for the damage prevention industry’s effort to reduce the rate of costly and dangerous incidents to buried utilities.

CGA’s Data Reporting & Evaluation Committee occasionally publishes supplemental DIRT reports and white papers examining specific issues and stakeholders.
