Common Ground Alliance launches the damage prevention industry’s official Conference & Expo in Orlando next March

WASHINGTON (July 15, 2020) – The Common Ground Alliance (CGA) – the national association dedicated to protecting underground utility lines, people who dig near them, and their communities – announced today that it will host the damage prevention industry’s official Conference & Expo from March 2-5, 2021, in Orlando. The 2021 CGA Conference & Expo is designed to focus on meaningful cross-industry, multi-stakeholder collaboration to develop concrete actions to address the challenge of increasing damages to buried infrastructure.

The 2021 CGA Conference & Expo will bring together North America’s foremost industry leaders and decision-makers for high-level educational seminars, guided discussions, expo floor interactions and unique networking opportunities that will culminate in actionable plans and partnerships to dramatically reduce damages to underground utilities. In addition to CGA committee meetings, the 2021 CGA Conference & Expo will feature forward-looking roundtables and facilitated discussions on resolving persistent pain points in the safe digging process, an expo floor spotlighting technologies that address gaps in damage prevention, and VIP networking opportunities designed for executive, management and board-level attendees.

Attendee registration for the 2021 CGA Conference & Expo is now open, and features a discounted group rate for organizations that plan to send 10 or more employees. CGA will be initiating its Call for Proposals later this summer. Conference sponsorships and exhibiting opportunities are available to exemplary companies in the damage prevention space that are committed to reinforcing CGA’s Best Practices.

“CGA is very excited to host the CGA Conference & Expo in Orlando next March, where attendees will be able to collaborate on action plans, build key business relationships, and observe and share the latest technology in the damage prevention industry,” said Sarah K. Magruder Lyle, President and CEO of CGA. “Attendees at the 2021 CGA Conference & Expo will not only be part of setting the agenda for the next decade in damage prevention, they will also be directly supporting the future of damage prevention by participating in the conference.”

Information about featured speakers, roundtables, educational tracks and networking opportunities will be announced in fall 2020.
