CGA, in partnership with Underground Service Alert of Northern California and Nevada, is bringing the national call-before-you-dig number back to Churchill Downs on Saturday, May 7 at the 148th Annual Kentucky Derby! Aboard White Abbario, jockey Tyler Gaffalione will represent the safe digging message wearing the 811 logo at this nationally televised event during peak spring digging season.
To make this opportunity a reality, we need financial support from members like you. In the eight years that CGA has partnered with members to bring Call 811 to Triple Crown horseracing, the call-before-you-dig number has garnered more than $38 million in advertising equivalency value and nearly a billion media impressions. Member-sponsors of this year’s 811 horseracing collaborative effort will be recognized in CGA emails, publications and social media, and will receive a deck detailing the media value and impressions and documenting the sponsorship with professional photography and broadcast video capture.
CGA members may support at one of four levels, based on CGA’s model of shared responsibility:
- Winner’s Circle ($5,000 investment)
- Place ($3,500 investment)
- Show ($2,000 investment)
- Exacta ($500 investment)
