Logo Use Policy

Common Ground Alliance (CGA) Damage Prevention Institute (DPI) Logo Use Policy

 

Effective Date: May 19, 2023

  1. Purpose
    This Logo Use Policy (the "Policy") outlines the guidelines and restrictions for the use of the Common Ground Alliance's (CGA) Damage Prevention Institute (DPI) logo (the "Logo") by external parties, including but not limited to vendors, partners, and affiliates. The purpose of this Policy is to ensure the proper and consistent use of the Logo in a manner that maintains Common Ground Alliance’s brand identity, integrity, and reputation.
  2. Authorized Use
    Only DPI-accredited organizations are permitted to use the Logo.
  3. Logo Guidelines
    3.1. The Logo should be used in its original form and should not be altered, modified, distorted, or animated in any way without prior written consent from CGA.
    3.2. The Logo should always be reproduced with high quality and should not be pixelated, stretched, or distorted. Proper care should be taken to ensure accurate colors, proportions, and clarity of the Logo.
    3.3. The Logo should always be displayed prominently and legibly, maintaining a clear and uncluttered background.
    3.4. No other logos, trademarks, or branding elements should be incorporated with the Logo without prior written consent from CGA.
  4. Prohibited Use
    4.1. The Logo should not be used in any way that suggests or implies endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with CGA unless explicitly authorized in writing.
    4.2. The Logo should not be used in any manner that is misleading, defamatory, obscene, offensive, or harmful to CGA's reputation.
    4.3. The Logo should not be used on any products, packaging, or materials that may be detrimental to public health, safety, or compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    4.4. The Logo should not be used for any commercial purposes without the explicit permission from CGA.
    4.5. The DPI logo may not be used on promotional items that are distributed free of charge. Examples of these types of uses can include shirts, hats, pens, coffee cups, stickers, and similar uses.
  5. Enforcement
    5.1. CGA reserves the right to monitor the use of the Logo by external parties to ensure compliance with this Policy.
    5.2. Non-compliance with this Policy may result in the immediate revocation of the authorization to use the Logo and may lead to legal actions seeking damages and other remedies as permitted by law.
  6. Modification and Termination
    6.1. CGA reserves the right to modify or update this Policy at any time, with or without prior notice.
    6.2. CGA may terminate the authorization to use the Logo at its discretion, with or without cause, by providing written notice to the external party.

By using CGA’s DPI Logo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the terms and conditions outlined in this Logo Use Policy.
