Kenneth Oostman


As Vice President, Technical Services for TransCanada’s U.S. Gas Operations, Ken Oostman is responsible for the oversight of the business unit’s engineering, integrity, reliability, measurement and work scheduling. His U.S. portfolio compromises nearly 30,000 miles of natural gas pipelines including a 838 unit, 4,000,000 horsepower compression fleet. 

He has held various management positions within Nicor Gas Company, Meade, New Mexico Gas Company and Columbia Pipeline Group. Before joining TransCanada in July of 2016, he served as Vice President of Engineering, PMO and Project Controls for Columbia Pipeline Group where he oversaw the management of capital investment tracking, controls and support for the execution of the company’s regulated and unregulated growth investments.

Throughout his 24-year industry career, Mr. Oostman has gained extensive experience in areas including Technical Services, Engineering, Project Management and Operations.
